LAUTECH Postgraduate Admission Requirements
The rules for getting into LAUTECH’s postgraduate programs in 2025/2026 are different based on the course you want to study. Below are the simple rules for each program:
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Program
- You must have a university degree with at least a Third Class grade in a related course.
- If you have a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least Lower Credit, you can also apply.
- If you studied Medicine or Veterinary Medicine, you may be allowed to do a PGD in Biochemistry.
Master’s Degree (M.Tech./M.Sc.) Program
- You must have a university degree with at least a Second Class Lower grade.
- If you have a PGD in a related field, you must have scored at least 60% to apply.
M.Phil. and Ph.D. Programs
- To apply for M.Phil., you must have scored at least 50% in your Master’s degree.
- For Ph.D., you need at least 60% in your Master’s degree.
- Sometimes, students may start with a joint M.Phil./Ph.D. program if the school allows it.
