FUTA Pre-Degree Program 2024/2025 Details
FUTA wants to let everyone know that the pre-degree form is now on sale. You can buy the form for ₦20,000 on the FUTA Pre-Degree website.
The pre-degree program helps students move from secondary school to university. It lasts for about 9 months. After the program, you can get into the university without writing UTME.

FUTA Pre-Degree Admission Requirements 2024/2025
If you want to study in the FUTA pre-degree program, you must meet these simple rules:
- You must have at least five credit passes in your school exams (WAEC, NECO, or similar).
- You must pass English Language and Mathematics.
- You can use results from two exam sittings, not more than that.
For some courses, special rules apply:
- If you want to study Estate Management, Industrial Design, Urban and Regional Planning, or courses like Agricultural Economics, Ecotourism, Fisheries, or Crop Management, you only need a pass in Physics.
- If you want to study Architecture, a pass in Chemistry is okay.
If you don’t yet have all your results, you can still apply. But you must get all the needed results before you finish the 9-month program.

How to Apply for FUTA Pre-Degree Form 2024/2025
To apply, you must pay a non-refundable fee of ₦20,000. Follow these easy steps to apply:
- Go to the FUTA Application Portal. Click on “Create Account Here.” Choose your program (like PDS or UABS).
- Use your username and password to log in.
- Click on the “Payment” section to get an invoice. You will see a transaction ID and an RRR code (for Remita payment).
- Pay the ₦20,000 fee using the RRR code. You can pay at the bank or online through Remita.
- If you already have the RRR code, you can also pay online with your ATM card on the Remita website.
- After payment, go back to the FUTA portal, log in again, and fill out the form.
- Submit your form and print the Acknowledgement or Screening Slip.
After you apply, keep checking for updates about the screening. Make sure you attend the screening on time. Also, try to apply early so you don’t miss the deadline.
